Design inspiration

It was 2132 A.D., when man began to establish a space colony on Mars, and began to exploit natural resources from Jupiter's satellites. It has been decades since man entered the age of the universe. And I'm in the waiting room of one of the many spaceports on earth, waiting for a spaceship to a city on Mars. This is an ordinary voyage for me. It's just a dream and a vision for people more than 100 years ago. However, in the blink of an eye, I was still in the space-time of 2016, and the location was the video game center named "star legend" in zhuoyuhui shopping mall, Merlin, Shenzhen, China.

Design emphasis

The entrance of "cosmic ship" consists of a series of hexagonal metal veneers to form its characteristic wall and entrance. The solid honeycomb shape matches with the high gloss paint veneer arranged randomly from white to blue to purple. This series of colors represent the colors between the universe and bring customers to the science fiction of the universe.

The window in the hexagonal array serves as the space window of the spacecraft. The light-emitting signboard font and ceiling slot lamp make scientific and technological style points, bringing the illusion of jumping into the space age. When passengers board the spaceship, the first place to arrive is the toll counter.

The tenacious hexagonal structure at the entrance also follows the whole interior from here. For example, the facing of the future urban skyline will be decorated with LED slot lights online, and the characteristic wall behind the counter will be equipped with the same honeycomb configuration as the front door. There are several hexagonal shapes on the honeycomb that are elongated or connected into various spans to reflect the complex mechanical atmosphere and sense of speed in the era of cosmic colonization. The characteristic wall is divided into three layers of matte baking paint with different colors and slot lights interspersed with them According to the skyline proposition of the counter, it shows the adventure mood of Mars City, the destination of the journey.
