Time, or the sequence events, is always the backbone of every story or film. An encounter can lead to romance. A regret might lead to a journey of redemption. A mistake can lead to a lifetime of sorrow. Be it comedy, sci-fi or thriller, every film is about the cause and effect that happen in the course of time.
In reality, time is linear to us. Whereas a film, timeline does not have to be bound by the science of physics. We can tell a story backwards, out of order, or in multiple timelines. Such versatility of time in the world of films is depicted in the design of this cinema, with the clock-like décor in the lobby as the centerpiece. With the mixed use of straight lines and curves, rectangular and circular shapes, the overall design celebrates the possibilities of time, and therefore storytelling, in a cinematic wonderland.
